This full-day excursion is a 352-kilometer journey, passing through the Nahuel Huapi National Park, and will take you along the Road of the Seven Lakes to reach San Martín de los Andes, famous for its crafts.
On the way you will see one of the famous 7 lakes and their clear waters, coming directly from the mountains, with a stop in Villa La Angostura and finally in San Martín de los Andes.
The journey that we are going to make begins with Route No. 40, where we will cross the bridge over the Limay River, the natural boundary of the Río Negro and Neuquén provinces.
Crossing the Huemul peninsula and Puerto Manzano, we head towards Villa La Angostura before going along the path of the 7 lakes: Nahuel Huapi, majestic for its magnitude, is one of the most important lakes of glacial origin, covering an area of 529 km.
Lake Villarino, framed by a coihue forest and mountain ranges, can be seen from the top of the road and joins Lake Falkner. Between two mountains on the side of the route, we will observe Lake Machonico with calm waters of a dark blue color.
Arriving in San Martín de los Andes, you will observe Lake Lacar.
We will return the same way to return to the hotels in Bariloche.
