Peninsula Valdés was declared a World Heritage Site of Humanity and contains throughout its extension different unique species that find in the area a suitable place to develop their life. It is a full day tour, accompanied by naturalist and bilingual guides.
The first stop we will make will be at the Istmo Carlos Ameghino interpretation center, where you can have quick references on the fauna, flora and geology of the Peninsula. We will also enjoy the panoramic point that will allow us to observe the Golfo Nuevo, San José and Isla de los Pájaros.
Then, we will make another stop in the town of Puerto Pirámides where depending on the season you can take whale watching (optional) or the nautical walk with snorkeling (optional).
Continuing the land tour, subject to the season, the weather or the tides, they will be visited in a different order or will be combined with other stops: Caleta Valdés, Punta Cantor and Punta Norte to observe sea elephants, penguins and sea lions.
Terrestrial killer whale watching can be done from Punta Norte, having more chances of seeing them in the months of March and April. Also during September in Caleta Valdés (less frequently).
