Day 1
Excursion to Boxes
El Cajas is a national park located northwest of the city of Cuenca, it is formed by a lacustrine system of glacial origin with more than 200 lagoons. We will start our visit in the lower part of the park in the Llaviuco area, just 30 minutes from the city of Cuenca, we will take a walk with a low degree of difficulty at an altitude of 3000 meters above sea level for 1 hour.
We continue our visit to the sector of 3 crosses that constitutes the continental divide of the waters between the Pacific and the Atlantic, at a height of 4,135 meters above sea level, we will take a short walk to observe this interesting point, then we descend and we will make our main walk to a height of 3900 masl for approximately 3 hours, the degree of difficulty is medium, on the way we will visit a beautiful primary forest and we will observe the interesting flora of the place.

If your passengers are not staying in those hotels, the fixed point established for the start of our regular excursions (SIB) is the Carvallo Hotel (Gran Colombia 9-52 and Benigno Malo) according to the following schedules, times that may vary in 10 minutes more or less depending on traffic conditions in the city.
