Chamula + Zinacantán
Reception at the hotel in San Cristóbal and we begin the visit to the city of San Juan Chamula , where we visit the church of San Juan Bautista to learn about the customs, through the rituals performed by the Tsotsil Indians of this place, which are distinguished by their religious syncretism that mixes pre-Hispanic and Catholic traditions.
Later, we moved to Zinacantán , where we visited a family of artisans who offer garments made on backstrap looms.
In both places we will be able to enter the culture of each region and we will learn to distinguish the differences and similarities that characterize 2 indigenous municipalities that, despite belonging to the same indigenous group, can be differentiated by their uses and customs.
