Río Lagartos (biosphere reserve): We begin our adventure with a tour (+ -2hrs) by boat in this protected area that is 64/104 miles / kms from Valladolid. We will see different types of birds such as herons, hawks, pelicans and more besides its main attraction: flamingos.
Flamingos: In this estuary we have about 400 species of birds as well as the largest pink flamingo colony in Mexico, which can be admired at all times of the year due to the abundant food and good weather to survive.
Maya Bath: Back you can try the Maya bath, this refers to an ancient Mayan tradition for skin care. White clay contains salts that help soften and rejuvenate the skin.
Las Coloradas (pink water): Stop to take photos. *
Ek Balam (archaeological site): Archaeological site, is one of the most important archaeological sites in Yucatan. The palace that is the main structure is in fact larger than the Kukulkan pyramid at Chichen Itzá and it is still allowed to climb all the structures.
Stucco facade: Its almost intact stucco facade makes it different from any other Mayan city.
