In this experience you will have the possibility to explore the incredible and beautiful nature, as well as the ancient indigenous culture, sharing the experience of an authentic Amazonian village, its lifestyle, traditions and culture in general.
In addition, as a good adventurer, you will be able to camp in Pacaya Samiria's jungle with all the necessary equipment and security. And so you will get to know one of the places with the most biodiversity on the planet up close.
You will feel surprised by a mystical world and your adventure will leave pleasant and lasting memories that can only be found in the land of the pink dolphins.

Iquitos: Pick up from the Airport or hotel at the city within the urban area of Iquitos.

Itinerary
Day 1
On the way to the jungle, our green treasure
Reception from airport or hotel and transfer to Nauta city by private car.
Transportation by motor boat inside Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve, through Yanayacu-Pucate basin. During the trip you will be able to see many pink and gray dolphins (bufeos) and various kinds of birds.
Typical lunch on board (box lunch).
First activity : as soon as you enter to the reserve, search for sloths on a small island where there are high success rates.
Search for a strategic area to camp. Exploration on foot at night to look for tarantulas, scorpions, giant frogs and nocturnal insects. Search for mammals such as pacas and agoutis.
Dinner in the middle of the jungle and spend the night in tents or in shelters built by the hands of the visitors on duty.
Day 2
A new sunrise
Early exploration from 5 am along the river to observe important birds such as macaws, prehistoric birds, herons, kingfishers, flycatchers and some dozens more.
Breakfast and exploration through the jungle looking for and monitoring various species of primates such as howler monkeys, capuchins, squirrel monkeys, huakaris and others, identifying them through their own sounds and behaviors.
Lunch at the camp. Walk through the jungle towards a lake (lagoon), opportunity to observe giant trees and learn about medicinal plants and its application today. In addition, survival knowledge and practice such as searching for food, searching for water from plants, recognition of signs and orientation tactics in the middle of the jungle. Dinner in the camping area.
Exploration by canoes during the night, to look for and observe alligators and nocturnal birds. High percentages of finding snakes like anacondas and other animals. Artisanal night fishing practice using jungle tools such as harpoons and/or bows and arrows. Overnight in tents or shelters built by the hands of the visitors on duty.
Day 3
A pleasant goodbye from the jungle
An early ornithology excursion by canoes. Opportunity to listen and recognize different types of birds and their respective sounds and songs. Also search for giant river otters.
Breakfast at the camping area. Practice of fishing for "piranhas" and other species and tasting them during our lunch.
Free time to enjoy the refreshing waters of Pucate River, using our amusement equipment, such as floating sticks and floating chairs, while observing more dolphins around us.
Return to Nauta city and finally return to Iquitos city.
