Itinerary

Day 1

AIRPORT OR TARAPOTO TERMINAL / NATIVE LAMAS

Reception at the Airport or Terminal Terrestre de Tarapoto, according to your arrival time and transfer to the hotel.
3:30 pm. Native Lamas Tour.
Arriving in Lamas we make a stop at the Plaza de Armas, where our guide will tell us the history of the city.
Visit to the Natural Viewpoint from where we can observe the entire city, the vegetation and buy handicrafts.
Visit to the Castle: We will visit each floor of the castle with the proper explanation for greater knowledge of its creation.
Visit to the Huayco Neighborhood (Natives): The natives will tell us their customs and teach us their dances, where we will all participate.

The city of Lamas is located 25 km from the city of Tarapoto. Folkloric capital of the Department of San Martín. Day 2

BLUE LAGOON

07:00 AM.- Breakfast at the Hotel.
8:30 AM we leave for Sauce (Blue Lagoon), stop at the Mirador "Punta de Gallinazo" where we will observe the great Huallaga River in the middle of the Jungle, enter tourist places and arriving at the Blue Lagoon we make the boat ride until we arrive At the EL CAÑO tourist recreation, we make a short stop to perform the command jump and then take photos in the mermaid's seat and ride a horse.
At recess they can do the sports they want such as volleyball, soccer, etc.
Then we go to have lunch at the tourist recreation El Paraíso, which is located on the shores of the blue lagoon.
We return to Tarapoto at 5:00 PM

Day 3

Transfer to Chachapoyas

8:30 PM We transfer you to the City of Tarapoto (8-hour trip), a route of wonderful landscapes through Alto Mayo.
5:30 PM Chachapoyas is a city in northern Peru, capital of the province of Chachapoyas and the department of Amazonas.
It stands on the eastern slope of the Andes mountain range, in a plain of the Utcubamba river basin, a tributary of the Marañón river.
It is the most important city in the Department of Amazonas.

Day 4

MONUMENTAL AREA OF KUELAP (Wonder of Peru)

07:30 AM .- Breakfast at the Hotel.
08:30 AM.- Tours to the Monumental Zone of Kuelap, located at 3,000 meters above sea level, an archaeological complex of greatest significance for the Chachapoyas, built since the 6th century AD and discovered in 1843, its stone walls up to 20 meters high are impressive. , that protect more than 500 circular houses, many of them are decorated with friezes in the form of zigzag and rhomboids, distributed in more than seven hectares of extension.
The visit is guided, starting the journey from the Tingo district where the Kuelap Cable Cars are located, which we will enjoy on a journey above the clouds for a 35-minute trip. After the visit, lunch in the Tingo district and return to Chachapoyas, transfer to hotel, overnight.

Day 5

GOCTA FALL

07:30 AM .- Breakfast at the Hotel.
8:30 AM.- The Gocta waterfall is one of the greatest natural attractions of the Amazon, considered the third highest waterfall in the world by many tourists, our tour begins from the city of Chachapoyas to the town of Cocachimba located at 1830 meters above sea level, where we start the adventure of a walk of approximately 2 hours to the second fall that is 540 meters high, during the tour you can see interesting plants and birds such as the cock of the rocks.
Return to Chachapoyas.

GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS:

Buy the flight from LIMA to TARAPOTO preferably the one at 9:30 AM.
Buy the return flight from TARAPOTO to LIMA starting at 7:00 PM.
Bring sunscreen, repellent, sunglasses, hat, warm clothing for the cold in the mornings and nights (in the case of Chachapoyas), and summer clothing (in the case of Tarapoto), comfortable clothing for excursions, coconut shoes thick shoes or hiking shoes, small backpack and personal medications if necessary or on the recommendation of your doctor.
It is recommended to people who are overweight or who do not have continuity of walking, make use of the horses for the excursion to the Gocta waterfall, since it is required to be in good physical condition.
