The most popular and popular route of the Camino de Santiago, the French Way. This route departs from Logroño.
This road allows you to get to know the most authentic face of rural Spain, its landscapes and cities such as Logroño, Burgos, León, Ponferrada ... until you reach the final destination, which is none other than Santiago de Compostela.
This trip gives you the chance to meet other pilgrims, to enjoy the magnificent and varied gastronomy of northern Spain, disregarding your bags and other logistical issues, which we take care of.
If you are worried that the stages are too long, do not worry, we can divide them in two and add extra nights to rest, as each one goes at their own pace.

Day 1
Start from Logroño
We started the Camino in Logroño, capital of La Rioja, a region known for its wines.
Day 2
Logroño - Nájera (27 km)
The stage starts with paved roads until you leave Logroño behind.
From here, the landscape will become more rural. For whom it seems a very long stage, it can be divided in two, stopping at Navarrete which is in the middle.
Day 3
Najera - Santo Domingo de la Calzada (24 km)
Stage in which you can appreciate rural Spain, away from the main road.
Day 4
Santo Domingo de la Calzada - Belorado (22 km)
In this section we will cross small forests and cultivation areas.
In addition, we can appreciate the view of the last mountains that we will find before reaching the plateau.
Day 5
Belorado - San Juan de Ortega (24 km)
A pleasant stage through rural areas, and in which you will cross the Montes de Oca.
Day 6
San Juan de Ortega - Burgos (24 km)
The landscape we observe will change with respect to the previous days with the proximity to the city of Burgos, one of the main stops on the Camino.
Day 7
Burgos - Hornillos del Camino (20 km)
Once past Burgos, the stage will continue through rural and farming areas typical of this region.
Day 8
Hornillos del Camino - Castrojeriz (18 km)
In this stage we will find a landscape very similar to that of the previous stage. It is a very pleasant stage, through the plateau.
Day 9
Castrojeriz - Frómista (25 km)
In this stage we leave the province of Burgos behind to enter the province of Palencia.
In this section we will reach the highest point of the whole plateau, and we can also see and enjoy the river Pisuerga, a tributary of the Duero.
Day 10
Frómista - Carrión de los Condes (19 km)
The stage runs parallel to the Ucieza River in some sections.
Day 11
Carrión de los Condes - Calzadilla de la Cueza (17 km)
This section runs through small valleys, and therefore, with several ups and downs. As a result, this stage will be harder than the previous days.
Day 12
Calzadilla de la Cueza - Sahagún (17 km)
This stage is quite short and takes place with total peace of mind. We leave Palencia behind and we enter the province of León.
Day 13
Sahagún - The Burgo Ranero (18 km)
Plain and calm stage. In this stage we will pass through cultivation areas.
Day 14
The Burgo Ranero - Mansilla de las Mulas (19 km)
It is a stage quite similar to the previous one.
As we approach León there will be a slight descent.
Day 15
Mansilla de las Mulas - Leon (17 km)
The landscape will become more urban as we get closer to León, another fundamental stop on the Camino.
León has a very well preserved historical center, with certain buildings and historical heritage worth visiting, such as the majestic cathedral.
For those who want to know and explore the city more in depth, we recommend adding an extra night here.
Day 16
León - Mazarife (22 km)
It is a flat and peaceful stage.
The landscape becomes rural once we leave behind the suburbs of León.
Day 17
Mazarife - Astorga (28 km)
We are approaching the mountains of León.
The terrain begins to become more irregular, with stretches of ups and downs.
In Astorga there are many places to visit and is closely linked to the architect Gaudí.
Day 18
Astorga - Rabanal del Camino (19 km)
Stage that takes place inside the mountains of León.
We leave behind, therefore, the mesetary landscape.
Day 19
Rabanal del Camino - Ponferrada (32 km)
It is a fairly long but satisfying stage.
In this stage we can see one of the most emblematic symbols of the Camino, the Cruz de Hierro (or Cruz de Ferro).
Day 20
Ponferrada - Villafranca del Bierzo (23 km)
Ponferrada is usually a starting point where pilgrims who want to make the last 200 km of the Camino usually start.
It is a stage with a spectacular landscape through the Bierzo region.
Day 21
Villafranca del Bierzo - O Cebreiro (28 km)
It is a very demanding stage, which ends with a last stretch of slope.
In this stage you can enjoy the landscape of the Galician massif, as well as the village of O Cebreiro.
Day 22
O Cebreiro - Triacastela (21 km)
This stage begins with a climb to the Alto Poio, where we will see the Monument to the Pilgrim, and then the stage will continue with a descent to Triacastela.
Day 23
Triacastela - Sarria (18 km)
In this stage we will enjoy a journey through rural areas of Galicia, with forests, streams and valleys.
At the end of this stage we arrive at Sarria, which is a starting point from where many pilgrims begin the Camino to undertake the last 100 km of journey, the minimum required to obtain the Compostela.
Day 24
Sarria - Portomarín (22 km)
It is a quiet stage, where we pass through small villages and chapels of Romanesque style.
The stage ends with the arrival in Portomarín.
Day 25
Portomarín - Palas de Rei (25 km)
The stage begins through a pine forest and through different small villages.
In this stage, we recommend visiting the Church of Santa María de Castromaior, which is characterized by its Romanesque style.
The stage ends with the arrival at Palas de Rei.
Day 26
Palas de Rei - Arzúa (29 km)
It is a long stage, but if you do not want to make such a long stage, you can divide it in two and spend the night in Melide.
In this stage we recommend a visit to Ribadiso, a medieval town.
At the end of the stage we arrive at Arzúa, known for its famous cheese.
Day 27
Arzúa - Pedrouzo (20 km)
At this stage we recommend a visit to the Chapel of Santa Irene, an essential stop for pilgrims.
At the end of the stage we arrive at Pedrouzo.
At some times of the year, the accommodation is complete in the town, but do not worry, given that in Galiwonders we have a wide offer for you.
Day 28
Pedrouzo - Santiago de Compostela (20 km)
The last day of the Camino. In this stage we will pass through Monte do Gozo, from where we will have privileged views of Santiago de Compostela and its majestic Cathedral.
When you arrive in Santiago, do not forget to go to the Pilgrim's Office to ask for your Compostela, in addition to strolling and strolling through the old area and visiting the Plaza del Obradoiro, the Plaza de Platerias ... In addition to observing the Cathedral up close.
Day 29
