Malaga Cathedral and Historic Center Tour

- Starting from Calle Alcazabilla, we will first head to what was once the Jewish Quarter of Malaga , where we will learn about the Sephardic legacy and the Jewish-Malaga poet Ibn Gabirol. We will continue our tour through the historic Calle Granada, making a stop at the Church of Santiago , the oldest Christian religious temple in the capital of the Costa del Sol.
- We will walk through streets of obligatory passage, such as Calle San Agustín. Here is the Palace of the Counts of Buenavista, an example of Renaissance civil architecture and home to the current Museo Picasso Málaga. Next to the Cathedral of the Incarnation, we will contemplate the details of the façade of the Iglesia del Sagrario , the only example of Gothic architecture in the city.
- Already inside the Cathedral of Malaga , we will know the historical-artistic details of this jewel of the Andalusian Renaissance popularly known by the people of Malaga as " La Manquita ". We will begin the visit by the Main Altar, and we will continue visiting the most outstanding chapels of the temple.
- As a culmination, we will end the Malaga Cathedral and Historic Center Tour admiring in detail the Choir Stairs, the work of the sculptor Pedro de Mena. This jewel of the Spanish Baroque will not leave you indifferent with its mastery and perfection.
