Old town and center:
We begin our tour of the Plaza Independencia , where we have the new and old Government House , a monument to our hero José Gervasio Artigas, Puerta de la Ciudadela and Teatro Solís .
Then we visit the Plaza Matriz , Montevideo Cathedral, Cabildo and Fuente de Agua.
We will continue to the Port Market (largest gastronomic center of the city)
We will walk along Avda. 18 de Julio , the main avenue in the country, until we reach the Legislative Palace , emblem of the city.
We continue our tour of the Agricultural Market considered a National Historic Monument. There we will give a few free minutes to take a tour.
From there we will visit the Centennial Stadium , a monument of world football. The Carreta monument awaits us to be photographed. Finally, we will discover the Carrasco neighborhood at the last point of our journey and then return to the center along the Rambla de Montevideo .
